Pre-traineeship predicament

Supposingly I should be writing this post from Hong Kong now, but the fact is, my traineeship got delayed. And I haven't stepped foot in Hong Kong yet. I'm still very much breathing Malaysia air and stepping on the Malaysia land.

It can be frustrating when you're all agog with excitement, getting yourself all prepared to embark the new venture in life but all of the sudden landed with a bomb. It's like a kid excitedly dressing up for his first day to school and having his mum tells him that the school temporily closed for unforseen circumstances. Definitely in my case, my TN manager in Hong Kong and I are in passive role and we can't do anything but to wait for the Immigration Dept in Hong Kong to speed up their work. By now, I truly understand the exact feelings of our trainees coming down to Malaysia and all the pre-traineeship predicaments they had been facing.

Farewells are bid, friends were met and were told by the excited gal that she'll be leaving on May. Seems like I'm having indefinite number of farewells when my friends said " Eh, I thought you're in Hong Kong now!" or " Ahh...call me again when you're really leaving.". Waiting is still bearable, but it is the uncertainty of the whole situation that gave me butterflies in my stomach.

It really been a gruesome wait ! This traineeship better be a blasting one ! At least I'm make sure it will be one !

Praying I'll be in Hong Kong before June!
